1. Yassa dukkhasaccaṃ uppajjati tassa samudayasaccaṃ uppajjatī'ti:
Sabbesaṃ upapajjantānaṃ pavatte taṇhāvippayuttacittassa uppādakkhaṇe tesaṃ dukkhasaccaṃ uppajjati, no ca tesaṃ samudayasaccaṃ uppajjati.
Taṇhāya uppādakkhaṇe tesaṃ dukkhasaccañca uppajjati samudayasaccañca uppajjati.

“upapajjantānaṃ” - 19 rebirth-linking consciousness, and its associated cetasika.
For egg-born beings (aṇdaja) and womb-born beings (jalābuja), there are 3 groups of kamma born matter arise – kāyadasaka, bhāvadasaka, and vatthudasaka.
For rūpāvacara beings, there are 4 groups of kamma born matter arise – cakkhudasaka, sotadasaka, vatthudasaka, and jīvitanavaka.
For moisture-born beings (saṃsedaja) and beings having spontaneous birth (opapātika), there are 7 groups of kamma born matter arise - cakkhudasaka, sotadasaka, ghānadasaka, jivhādasaka, kāyadasaka, bhāvadasaka, and vatthudasaka.

For non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), there is only the vital nonad arise (jīvitanavaka).
“Pañcavokāra” - five-aggregate beings (kāmāvacara and rūpāvacara except asaññasatta)
“Catuvokāra” - four-aggregate beings (arūpāvacara)
“Ekāvokāra” - one-aggregate beings (asaññasatta)
beings = 12 beings (4 puthujjanā beings, 4 maggattā persons, 4 phalattā persons)
Here “Sabbesaṃ upapajjantānaṃ” - the possible reborn beings are 4 puthujjanā, 3 lower phala persons. (4 magga persons and arahatta phala person are excluded)
